Village Foods Sumac is a tart purplish color with acidic tasting spice which grows as a small red berry throughout the Mediterranean. It is widely used to create a sour taste to compliment cooking or grilling. The berries are harvested, dried and crushed and can be used also for garnishing salad dishes.
